Travel to Costa del Sol

A former fishing village, Marbella is easily the most popular resort destination for those who travel to Costa del Sol. Located on the eastern half of the region, the modern town still offers plenty of history including a Moorish castle, an Old Town quarter that is filled with local flavour such as cobblestone narrow streets and flowered balconies, and the infamous Orange Square plaza which is worth a few hours of your time to explore at least.

The large city is also home to some of the best skiing resorts during the winter months and in the summer months over forty of the top golf courses in Spain. Shopping centres and open air markets abound for those who want to see all of the antique, vintage, and high end shops that the city has to offer and nightclubs and restaurants line both the city streets and the shore line which stretches out for at least 15km.

The Puerto Banus Marina to the west of Marbella is one of the most exclusive yacht ports in Europe. Frequented by the rich and famous, you can almost taste money in the air on warm summer evenings.
